How to Complete Financial Verification
Financial verification lives inside your customer portal under Billing → Financial Verification. From there, click Connect Bank Account to open a secure Stripe window and finish the connection. The whole process takes a couple of minutes.
Log in at skorppio.com/customer/dashboard.
Navigate to Billing and open the Financial Verification section.
Click Connect Bank Account. A trusted Stripe window opens for you to complete the connection.
Choose your bank, sign in with your bank credentials inside the Stripe window, and authorize the connection.
When the Stripe window confirms success, you are returned to your Billing page and your verification status updates automatically.
Connecting Your Bank Is Read-Only
Skorppio never withdraws funds, transfers money, or initiates payments through this connection. Stripe Financial Connections is a read-only data link used solely to confirm account ownership and review eligibility.
Verification Is Account-Level, Not Order-Level
Financial verification lives at the account level — not the order level. Once your account is verified, that status carries across your orders. Skorppio may require additional verification at certain intervals, and you will be notified when that happens. Common triggers include:
Changing the bank account on file
Requesting different payment terms
Increasing the order limit on a particular order
Why Skorppio Verifies Your Bank
Skorppio uses bank verification to:
Confirm account ownership — make sure the person on the account is the named accountholder.
Support risk review — assess eligibility for net terms, larger orders, or extended rental durations.
Prevent fraud — protect both you and Skorppio from unauthorized or fraudulent orders.
This Is Not a Credit Check
Financial verification through Stripe is not a credit inquiry. It does not pull your credit report, does not affect your credit score, and is not reported to any credit bureau.
Is Verification Required?
Bank verification is optional. It may be required based on your account type or other criteria. Examples of when verification is typically required include:
All individual accounts
Most business accounts applying for Net 15 or Net 30 terms
The value of your rental order
The duration of your rental order
Other requirements determined by Skorppio's administrative team
Manual Review by Skorppio Staff
Financial verification is manually reviewed by Skorppio staff, and approval is determined exclusively by Skorppio staff. Connecting your bank account does not mean you will be granted net terms or approved for financial credit underwriting. The connection is one input into a broader review — final approval is at Skorppio's discretion.
