Pricing transparency
Every system in the catalog has a live price that updates based on your configuration and rental duration. To see rates, create a free account — there is no commitment, and longer rental terms always get you a better per-period rate.
System type — Workstations, servers, render nodes, and laptops are priced according to their hardware class and capabilities.
GPU configuration — The number and model of GPUs is the primary cost driver for most configurations.
Rental duration — Weekly and monthly terms are available. Longer commitments carry better per-period rates.
Add-on services — Optional services such as software stack deployment, expedited shipping, or drive destruction are priced separately.
Pricing is dynamic and reflects current demand and availability. The rates you see in your account are always current.
Why equipment age does not factor into pricing
Every Skorppio system goes through rigorous physical, electrical, and workload stress testing — both before it ships to a customer and after it returns. Every major subsystem in a compute node is validated against its approved performance specification: compute, memory, storage, cooling, power delivery, and networking. A unit that does not pass acceptance testing in any one of those categories does not ship. The failed components are either replaced or the node is retired from the fleet.
That is why a system's age does not factor into your rental price. What you pay reflects verified, current-generation performance — not chronological age.
A current-generation fleet, by design
Skorppio carries only current-generation and previous-generation hardware in its rental inventory — typically the most recent one or two architectures from NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel across our workstation, server, and laptop fleet. Older hardware is retired on a defined cadence, not when it fails. It does not stay in inventory waiting for a customer.
This is a deliberate structural choice and a meaningful difference between Skorppio and most other compute rental providers. When you rent from Skorppio, you are using the same generation of hardware you would purchase new today — not last-cycle equipment that has been depreciated and pushed back into a rental fleet.

Payment Options
